Everything you need to get paid — and to follow up when you’re not.
The whole platform, grouped by the job it does. Everything is included on every plan unless it’s marked Trades or Compliance. Features marked Coming soon are on their way and aren’t available yet.
Money that arrives on its own.
Card and direct-debit collection that runs itself, with the tools to hold funds before you start and pick up invoices from anywhere.
Automagic Payments
Card and direct-debit collection that runs on its own. Deposits on acceptance, balances on completion and automatic backup-card retry with instant alerts when something needs attention.
- Card & Australian bank direct debit
- Deposit-on-acceptance & balance-on-completion
- Recurring & subscription billing on any schedule
- Failed-payment retry on a cadence you choose — Trades & Compliance
Pre-authorise up to $20,000
Put a hold on the customer’s card before you start — the money is held, not charged. Complete the job, capture the amount and you never carried the risk.
Turn invoices into payments
Invoiced somewhere we don’t connect to yet? Upload it and let Automagic Payments collect — the amount is even read off the PDF for you.
Buy now, pay later
Let a homeowner spread the cost through Afterpay or Klarna while you’re paid in full, up front — at the provider’s own rate, passed straight through with nothing added.
Failed-payment recovery
A failed payment retries on its own — the primary payment method first, then the backup — every 3 days or stretching out at 3, 5 and 7, over up to three cycles. You and the customer both get told, and if every attempt fails you choose what happens next: keep re-debiting, or fold it into their next regular payment. It’s never suspended silently — it waits as a pending payment with a one-click retry.
Branded SMS reminders
Payment reminders sent from your own business name as the sender — not a generic shared number.
Customer portal
A self-service portal where customers view invoices, pay a balance, manage their saved cards and see their history.
Agreements people actually sign.
Legally sound terms, signed on any device with the evidence to back them — and a forms engine for everything else your business needs signed.
Terms of trade & proposals
Legally sound terms and proposals, signed in minutes and kept current when the law changes. Put your terms link on your own website and new customers onboard themselves — details, signature and payment method, no back-and-forth.
Legally binding e-signing
Signed on any device with a real drawn signature — captured with the signatory’s IP address and a timestamp — and as many co-signatories as the agreement needs.
Sign by selfie
Ask signatories to photograph themselves as they sign — they scan a QR code and take the photo on their own phone. You get a face against the signature, not just a name typed into a box.
Automatic annual re-signing
Keep every agreement current without thinking about it — re-issued on each customer’s own anniversary, or on a fixed date like the start of the financial year.
Build any form you need
Credit applications, onboarding packs, safety checklists, authority forms — build any document you need from the same engine and get it back with a legally binding signature on it.
Embed forms on your own website
Put your terms of trade, credit application or any form you’ve built straight into a page on your site. We verify you control the domain first, and every embed is protected against clickjacking.
How embedding works →Routine decisions, made the way you would.
Switch on AutoPilot and the routine steps of onboarding a customer happen on their own. Each one is its own on/off setting, so you decide exactly how much to hand over.
- Auto-approve default credit termsOnly for customers you invited with their details prefilled and a payment term you chose. Customers who arrive through your general terms link still wait for you.
- Request a GSI when credit terms are approvedA General Security Interest registration over the customer, on the PPSR, at a flat $22.
- Send terms of trade to new Xero contactsWith Xero connected, a brand-new contact is sent your terms automatically. Contacts without an email address are skipped.
Scope changes, signed before the work starts.
A job rarely finishes exactly as quoted. Record the change, have the customer approve it on the spot — on your phone via QR code, or sent to them to sign — and the extra is charged through Automagic Payments. Every variation is its own signed record, so you hold the whole sequence if anyone ever asks what was agreed.
- Vary the whole quote, a single payment stage or a stand-alone change
- Signed on any device, with IP address and timestamp captured
- Approved additions are billed automaticallyThrough the same rail as your deposits and balances.
- Every change kept in orderEach one an immutable record — the sequence is the audit trail.
When an invoice goes overdue, the maths is already done.
Debt escalation turns an overdue account into an itemised worksheet: the unpaid invoices, your admin and collection fees, and interest worked out day by day at the rate written into your own terms of trade — ready for a letter of demand or your solicitor.
- Interest at your contractual rateConfirmed by you, and recorded with who confirmed it and when — never a rate we guessed.
- Worked out properlyCompounded daily over the actual days elapsed, and running through to the day it’s paid.
- Payments applied your wayChoose whether payments go to interest first or principal first.
- Itemised line by lineInvoices, fees, interest and payments received, recalculated fresh every time it’s opened.
Know who you’re dealing with, and be secured before you start.
Security registration and monitoring on every plan; the deeper AML/KYC tools on Compliance.
PPSR / security registration
Register an all-present-and-after-acquired-property security interest over a business customer and keep the verification statement on file — a flat $22, scheduled if you like. Commercial customers only.
Customer status monitoring
Get alerted automatically if a customer’s ABN is cancelled or their GST registration changes — before it costs you.
Security you can point to
Encrypted everywhere, card details that never touch our servers and your data hosted in Australia.
Read the security overview →Beneficial-ownership resolution
Map who ultimately owns and controls a company through every layer — trusts, holding companies and all — with an audit trail.
Sanctions & PEP screening
Screen customers against the DFAT sanctions list, with a politically-exposed-person declaration captured at onboarding and a recorded decision on every match. Customers are re-screened automatically — daily whenever the list changes, plus a weekly sweep of everyone on file.
Compliance timeline
A time-stamped, per-customer record of every compliance event — who did what, and when. It can only ever be added to, never edited, and sits out of the way on the customer page until you need it.
PPSR renewal reminders
Registrations don’t last forever. We check every day and remind you 30, 14 and 7 days before one is due to renew, so you can renew in time.
Offer prepaid instead of a flat no
When your team is about to decline a customer’s credit, it’s prompted to offer a prepaid account instead — so a no to credit needn’t be a lost sale. If no one chooses, the decline goes through after a countdown.
Built for accountants
Verify your TPB registration and send ethical-clearance letters to a client’s previous accountant automatically.
Works with the rest of your business.
Your accounting and job software, your contacts, your mailing list, your files and your own systems — kept in step without re-keying anything.
Xero contact import
Connect your Xero organisation to import your contacts, or bring customers in from your Xero invoices, so nobody is typed in twice.
Accounting integrations →ServiceM8 & Fergus
Send a quote from your job-management software and the terms, deposit and balance ride along with it.
Job-management integrations →Mailchimp audience sync
Customers join your Mailchimp audience once they’ve signed, with business and consumer customers kept on separate lists if you like.
How it works →Google & Microsoft contacts
Every customer who signs your terms of trade is added to your Google or Microsoft contacts automatically — name and email, nothing more.
How it works →Cloud storage archive
Signed forms and PPSR verification statements file themselves into your own Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox, in a tidy folder per customer.
How it works →Bring your customers in from a CSV
On something else? Upload a CSV in whatever shape it came out of and we work out which column is which. A dry run shows exactly what would be created first.
Accounting integrations →Webhooks
Signed events pushed to your own systems the moment something happens — a form submitted, a payment made or failed, a PPSR registered.
Event list →API access
Give your developer or a tool a revocable token tied to one person and one business, able to do only what that person can.
How tokens work →See it working on your own customers.
Set yourself up in minutes — your terms, your Xero, your rates.
